The Santini family sure sounds Italian - and they definitely are! The other half you rarely hear about, though, is Polish. While nobody speaks the language, we do know that Kielbasa literally means sausage. Eastern Europe's love affair with garlic is pretty legendary at this point. Czosnkowa (pronounced cho-sin-KO-va) is Polish for garlic. This mainstay is a smoked sausage built around garlic, with the simple additions of Himalayan salt, black pepper and marjoram to round out the flavor. Grilled or fried, this one is one of our kids' favorites!
North Mountain Pastures is a small family farm dedicated to producing great food using ecologically sound production practices. This means animals are naturally raised outdoors, on grass or in carefully managed woodlots, and fed only non-GMO grain. We don’t use hormones, antibiotics, or other chemicals to medicate livestock.
Worried you don't know how to cook? Here's the thing, the quality of your ingredients is sort of like a cheat code for cooking. Your dish is only as good as your weakest ingredient. Grab some fresh produce, a good NMP sausage, and some potatoes, rice or polenta...you got a meal!
My family & I enjoyed the kielbasa. It has a nice smoky flavor. I don’t think I can buy kielbasa from the supermarket anymore. This kielbasa has elevated my tastebuds.
It’s the best I’ve ever eaten. My family loves it.
Flavorful! Oh so flavorful!
Seriously, I was a little apprehensive about trying a “homemade” kielbasa as I’m picky about seasonings. WOW, just WOW!!! This was so good. I will never go back to eating that over processed, super greasy stuff the grocery stores call kielbasa. Perfect amount of seasoning, just the right amount of snap when you bite into it. I was tempted to stuff myself with several.
This is one of our son’s favorite meats from NMP.
