When friends meet my two siblings, we get lots of questions about what our parents did. The three of us have all gone our own way in life, generally choosing principles and hard work that have fulfilled each of us personally over careers that would have probably been more profitable. Whether or not those traditional paths in life would have been less stressful is based on your perception of stress!

The three of us have all gone our own way in life, generally choosing principles and hard work that have fulfilled each of us personally over careers that would have probably been more profitable. Whether or not those traditional paths in life would have been less stressful is based on your perception of stress!

My answer to the question has always been my parents. I didn't pursue a career in aerospace engineering because it wasn't fulfilling my desires for manual labor and creativity. When I let my parents know I was going to hitch hike through Mexico and then figure things out from there, my dad said what he always did...<<really loud sigh>>..."Well, let's figure out how you can do that safely."

Dads need to be there for their kids. To catch them when they're falling off swings, steady them on a bike, and give them big hugs when they don't win the soccer game. Dads also need a break! As a rep for all the dads, I suggest meat, fire and beer as the ultimate break 😎.

For the summer months, when the grill is the ideal cooking apparatus, I suggest ground beef (recently added to the store) and sausage as the staples to serve with some greens or grilled onions and peppers. Save the carbs for the beer and dessert! By the way - if you're looking for a good summer beer, Troegs Sunshine Pils, or When In Doubt, or any Gose - DuClaw Gose O's for all my Baltimore people!

We just put some gift cards on the site, added ground beef, and our famous pastured pork sausages are ready for your order! Gift cards are fulfilled and available immediately, any meat ordered this week will be delivered TUESDAY.
