Six pounds of mixed grass fed beef and pasture-raised pork. You'll get your share of the whole animal, receiving:
Pork chops, steaks, chuck roasts, shoulder roasts, pork belly, shanks, kabobs, minute steaks, ground, short ribs, spare ribs, and more. We mix it up for you so it's always a bit like opening a surprise.
CSA shares are how we began selling pasture-raised meats, and we will continue offering these mixed bundles of fresh cuts as long as you want them! This one is sized for a single person or a couple that eats meat a couple times a week.
North Mountain Pastures is a small family farm dedicated to producing great food using ecologically sound production practices. We farm on 84 acres in Perry County, Pennsylvania, in a way that heals the land, nourishes people, and treats animals with respect. This means animals are naturally raised outdoors, on grass or in carefully managed woodlots, and fed only non-GMO grain. We don’t use hormones, antibiotics, or other chemicals to medicate livestock.
Worried you don't know how to cook? Here's the thing, the quality of your ingredients is sort of like a cheat code for cooking. Your dish is only as good as your weakest ingredient. Grab some fresh produce, a good NMP sausage, and some potatoes, rice or polenta...you got a meal!

Sad to see the foam cooler - but I understand the problem with getting the bio packs due to Covid. The meat was all still frozen, and was a good selection. Thanks!
I am loving our CSA farm share. The bundles are packed well and filled with great items. You can tell they put a ton of care into their product.
Love the small CSA share. We don’t eat an awful lot of meat but want to keep it high quality. We love being surprised by new and unfamiliar cuts.
